Business Systems Management Inc. (BSMI) was
incorporated as a consulting company in 1983. Our beginnings were small but effective and our
philosophy is still that bigger is not necessarily better. Two to Twenty BSMI consultants are on assignment at any
given time and that number depends on the needs of the clients we support on a
regular basis. Our primary work has
been performed for Prudential Insurance, JP Morgan Chase (with a history at Manufacturer’s Hanover,
Chemical and Chase Manhattan Banks), and GE Capital Management, but through the years
we have consulted for a number of other Fortune 500 companies, as well.
Our office is located on Long Island, and our consultant base is international. Management of BSMI consists of a small staff responsible for all client and consultant contact, and normal day-to-day corporate activities. Our goal is to minimize operating costs as much as possible.
BSMI began as a Systems Technology and Operations consulting company. We are very successful at providing our clients with individuals and project teams with excellent skills to many projects. Project management, planning, analysis, development, implementation, testing, and training are among the technology oriented assignments in which we participate.
In recent years BSMI has formed alliances with
senior consultants that have extensive business backgrounds, and with consulting
companies with resources whose skills compliment those we possess.
In each case we are able to enhance the client support we have offered in
the past.
The senior consultant relationships allow BSMI to assist clients at the enterprise level in an advisory capacity, to investigate the feasibility of new corporate or business directions, and to examine and restructure existing business infrastructures.
The consulting company relationships provide additional ways for us to keep pace with the expanding technologically skilled consultant population that we may not possess internally. In this way we assure our clients that we can find as many of the diverse resources as our clients may need.
